With her New Moon Gong Bath approaching fast, on Friday, June 9, Shira shared a reflection and a thought for the month ahead. Let this be an invitation to pause and contemplate your intentions for the coming days.
There is a Tantric meditation I came across through a great scholar-practitioner Hareesh, that I love.
A simple version of it is to visualise a third eye that is also a mouth in the centre of the forehead and sipping nectar through it as if from a straw. We inhale white light down the front of the body like a waterfall, and exhale up the centre all the way up and out through the crown of the head letting out just air, keeping all the goodness in.
I bring it up now, when that the days are getting brighter and warmer and because I think it’s so nice to imagine sipping nectar from a straw!
The invitation today is a simple one. What are you breathing in? What is the nectar you long to feed yourself with?
Visualise it like a waterfall of light through the body, in and around you, showering you with this vital energy. May it bring a smile to your face and lightness to your being.
And if visualising light and energy and waterfalls doesn’t come naturally…. then there is a gong bath on June 9th to kickstart this process.
Come let the sounds release the imagination and guide you to an unprogrammed and unconditioned state of mind, beyond that which is so ingrained and habitual. Let’s sip this nectar together. See you there.
Come to harness the power of sound to pierce through any resistance, inertia, stress or anxiety and release that which is burdensome. Book your place via the link below.
