Title: Perfectly whole
Description: Autumn equinox alongside a full moon offer chance for us to contemplate the whole of the body, remembering what’s behind, and what’s ahead – so we focus on the back body while lengthening the front body, strengthening the back muscles and the obliques, grounding through the feet while reaching upwards. We start with a standing Earth/Sky pranayama and circular joint freeing movements to prepare the body for a little circular flow, which of course means some hip work, but with some core work added throughout, building inner strength to help the body become as luminous as that moon ;)
Peak pose/s: Baby grasshopper, Bakasana prep and balance via Moon salutation, Skandasana (side lunge) and twists, including Parivrtta Ardha Chandrasana (revolved half moon).
