Description: In today’s class we ponder two things as we practise: the pose doesn’t end at the extremities of your physical body, and how the new moon (overnight) is still whole although we can’t see it, reminding us to bring awareness to the parts (your postures, practice, life) that you can’t see, this helps us to first find the form and then go beyond the physical shape. We explore that through Virabhadrasana (Warrior I and II) and the usual Primary series standing postures, balances, including Ardha Baddha Padmottanasana (standing half bound lotus forward fold) and Bhujapidasana (shoulder pressing pose), the seated postures, building to the finishing sequence of back bends and shoulder stand, headstand and breathing sequence.
