What should I wear?
Wear something loose and comfortable, that does not restrict your movements. Yoga and Pilates are done in bare feet. For kid’s ballet, ballet shoes are optional. Your child can do the class in bare feet and bring a pair of socks for slide work.
What do I need to bring?
You only need to bring what you intend to wear. We provide all the equipment, such as yoga mats. If you wish to bring your own mat you are welcome, but you are not obliged to. We have changing rooms here, but no showers.
Do I need to book drop in classes?
You don't need to book, you can just show up 5-10 mins before hand. Alternatively you can book online and pay in advance. Drop in classes are on a first come, first served, basis for those who just show up so if the class is a busy one, please either arrive in good time or book in advance online.
How do I log in, book and cancel classes online?
When you initially join Yogahome, we create a login for you to book and access your Yogahome account via the Mindbody Online portal. Thedetails you need are your email address for the username, and the default Yogahome password we sent you.
You can keep this password, or change it to anything you like. If you forget your password, go to Mindbody Online and click on the "Forgot password?" link. It will open a new page where you need to enter your username (your email address) and hit "Next". You will receive an email to reset the password.
You can book via our website: go to Schedule and find the class you want, then click SIGN UP to the right. Follow the steps through to payment to secure your booking.
You can also go to Mindbody Online. Log in and go to the CLASSES tab to view the schedule of classes and sign up. Go to the WORKSHOPS/COURSES tab to view upcoming workshops and courses and sign up.
Go to Mindbody Online. Log in and go to the MY INFO tab, then My Schedule to view the classes/workshops/courses you have booked and click the cancel button on the right hand side.
Using the Mindbody Connect app
Login and find Yogahome to browse our schedule and book for classes. To view any bookings you have made go to your Home page, then to Schedule: this will display your upcoming bookings and you can cancel from there too.
If I am late is it a problem?
Please arrive in good time as late comers will not be admitted. See our cancellation policy across the page, in our Terms and Conditions.
I am on the waiting list for a class: what happens next?
If you have signed up to receive email/text notifications, you will get notified up to 30 minutes before the start of the class if you have got a place. To sign up to receive notifications, go to your Profile on Mindbody and tick the appropriate boxes. If you no longer can or want to come to the class, please cancel (see above for how to cancel), however last minute. You are always welcome to contact us to check your position on the waiting list. In any case, we recommend you turn up to class, whatever your status on the waiting list, making sure you arrive on time.
Is there a discount for coming frequently?
Yes, if you plan to come to our drop in classes regularly you can join our membership scheme or purchase one of our class passes. Please go to the Prices page to find the package that suits you best.
How do I book a course or workshop?
We recommend you pay in advance to secure your place, but you are also welcome to turn up on the day.
Online: you can pay with a credit or debit card in our online store.
By phone: call us on 020 7249 2425 and pay with a credit or debit card.
In person: you can pay with cash or with credit or debit card when you come in.
Is there is a concessionary rate?
No, but we have class passes, which are a much more economical way to attend drop in classes. If you have never been to Yogahome before, you are entitled to our new clients' Introductory deal, £40 for 30 days of unlimited classes! See our Prices page.
I'm pregnant. Should I start doing yoga?
Yes definitely. We recommend that you do our Pregnancy Yoga classes, especially if you are new to yoga. These classes are very safe and are appropriate for any stage of pregnancy. You don't need to wait until 12 weeks before you start yoga if you go to a pregnancy yoga class. Do bear in mind that the first trimester is the most delicate stage of the pregnancy as the placenta is not fully established and the risk of miscarriage is greatest. Although it is extremely unlikely that pregnancy yoga would be the cause of a miscarriage. Our Pregnancy Pilates classes are also highly recommended, at any stage of your pregnancy.
I'm pregnant, I've done lots of yoga. Can I go to any class?
There are some classes which are not suitable for pregnant women, and some teachers that do not accept pregnant women in their classes. Classes that are unsuitable are Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga and Jivamukti yoga, because they are high heat practices. However if you have an established yoga practice and you know your teacher, speak to them about the suitability of continuing in their class. You are also welcome to our Slow Flow and level 1 Iyengar yoga classes: just make sure you speak to the teacher before hand. They can advise you about which postures are not appropriate whilst you are pregnant and give you suitable modifications. Pilates is not suitable during pregnancy, unless it is a specifically Pregnancy Pilates class because your abdominal muscles need to lengthen, rather than draw in during pregnancy.

Do remember that whilst you are pregnant, it is not a good idea to attempt to expand your practice, physically at least, but you can maintain it.
If I have a medical condition can I still attend yoga?
Please inform your teacher before the class if you have a medical condition or injury or have had a recent operation. You may need to avoid certain aspects of yoga in favour of others.
If you have a medical condition such as ME, MS, AIDS, high blood pressure or heart disease, or have been referred by your doctor to do yoga, you are most welcome to attend a beginners or Slow Flow yoga class.
Again please let the teacher know about your condition before the class and bring any relevant letter from your doctor with you. The daytime yoga classes provide an ideal place for you to get more attention from the teacher as they tend to be less busy.
Classes: Lateness and cancellation policy
For any pre-booked classes, you must sign in at the front desk at least 5 minutes before class.
Your place will be released and given to someone else 5 minutes before class starts if there is a queue of clients waiting to attend this class.
If you arrive late and your place has been given to another client, we will ask you to join the queue. If the class is oversubscribed and we cannot let you in, we will not charge you, and your credit (eg. £14 drop-in, or class pass unit) will be returned to your Yogahome account.
Cancellation and No Shows:
If you cannot make it to a class, you need to cancel (online, by email, or over phone) no later than 1 hour before the start of the class and any credit used to pay for this class will be returned to your Yogahome account. If you cancel less than 1 hour before class, this is a late cancellation. Credit will not be returned for late cancellations or no shows.
Please note that your booking will block a place until it is officially cancelled. At busy times, fully booked classes with waiting lists dissuade people from dropping in when in fact we can accomodate them. Therefore, we reserve the right to remove pre-booking privileges to anyone with a history of repeated No Shows or late cancellations.
Members and Introductory Offer clients cancellation and No Show policy:
You will lose pre-booking privileges for a month after 3 late cancellations or no shows.
Therapy and One-to-One appointments: cancellation policy
Yogahome operates a strict 24 hour cancellation policy on behalf of our therapists and teachers. For cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice or if a client fails to show up for their appointment, the client will be charged the full appointment fee in these circumstances.
Courses and Workshops: cancellation policy
Clients can cancel any booking for a course or a workshop with 7 or more days notice and receive a full refund. If the cancellation is within seven days, clients will be offered a credit or a transfer to another course or workshop. However a £5 administration fee will be charged. Once the course or workshop has started there is no refund or transfer.
We reserve the right to cancel a course or workshop if necessary. Any client who has booked a place will be given a full refund.
The Membership Unlimited allows you to attend as many drop in classes as you like. Courses and workshops are not included. This membership is non transferable, in other words you cannot share it with another person.
• Three month minimum commitment
• Two freezes / holds per year for a minimum of 7 days, maximum of 3 months
• 14 day written notice to cancel or freeze membership
• 3 guest passes upon signing up. These passes have no expiry date but are removed from your account if the membership is cancelled
• Payment by direct debit from a bank account only
• The direct debit runs every month of the year, including a number of days on which Yogahome is closed over Christmas. This year, these are 24th December through to 1st January inclusive.
No refunds will be given on class passes once purchased. All class passes have an expiry date, and cannot be extended or suspended except in exceptional circumstances. Class passes are assigned to individual clients and cannot be shared between clients.
Both the 5 and the 10 session class passes are valid for any drop in class and for 6 months.
Any credit with us is valid indefinitely, and can be used for any product or service we offer.
Yogahome takes the security and privacy of our clients very seriously. We only keep the personal information of our clients in order to provide our services to them. The data collected is the following:
First and last name, mobile phone number, email address and date of birth.
For clients signed up to the Membership Unlimited, the data collected also includes bank sorting code and account number.
Clients are able to access their own data through our website and update or change it as they wish. This data will not be passed to any third party. It is for Yogahome’s internal use only to enable us to communicate with our clients and for clients to buy our services.
Clients can unsubscribe from receiving our marketing information anytime by emailing us or clicking on the 'Unsubscribe' link at the bottom of every marketing email received from us.
Clients can unsubscribe from receiving email and/or text notifications about their bookings (confimrations, waiting list status, cancellations) by logging into their Mindbody account, under the Personal section of their Profile.
All staff with access to the database receive induction on the appropriate use of data.
