Flo Lam-Clark

Flo’s classes are fun, explorative and nourishing with attention to detail in alignment, breath and awareness of felt sensations in the body. She creates sequences that will help you to build strength, stamina and flexibility with some challenge and encourages you to develop your practice according to your pace. Her aim is that you will leave feeling nicely balanced & uplifted, yet relaxed and calm.
Flo draws inspiration from yogic texts, and her teachers Jason Crandell, Doug Keller, Judith Hanson Lassater and Thich Nat Hanh. She recently completed an advanced 500 hour Vinyassa Flow teacher training with Jason Crandell & Mindfulness teacher training with Breathworks.

Flo Lam-Clark instructs the following:
  • flow & restore yoga : all levels
  • An energetic, heat-building vinyasa flow practice followed by longer-held stretches and restorative poses, and ending with a deep, long, guided relaxation.

A well balanced two-fold class, with the benefits of dynamic yoga and the benefits of a full restorative practice all packed in a single session! A real treat for everyone.

  • vinyasa flow yoga : all levels
A dynamic flowing practice of postures drawing on the ashtanga yoga tradition yet with creative sequencing so that each class is different.

Deep stretching for strength and flexibility leaves you energized yet relaxed.

All levels - everyone welcome, differing abilities are catered for. Complete beginners should be aware that a minimum level of fitness is recommended as these classes may be faster paced or more physically challenging.

  • restorative yoga : all levels
  • A relaxing practice using props to fully support the body in poses. The body is progressively and passively stretched and re-aligned, and the mind allowed time to rest,  leaving you feeling open and refreshed.
What a better way to end the week and start the weekend?

  • pranayama & meditation : all levels

Building on breath work (pranayama) to focus and calm the mind, this class will lead you seemelssly into meditation. A practice truly accessible to everyone: no experience necessary.

Following preparatory stretches and breathing practice, you will be guided through ways to sit, concentrate, and access a stillness of mind that, even if only achieved for a few moments, will bring you clarity and serenity.

A great introduction to meditation as well as a way to deepen or refresh your practice. Various teachers may bring a range of different techniques to the class.

  • yoga nidra : all levels
Also known as yogic sleep or sleep with awareness, yoga nidra is an ancient practice intended to induce full-body relaxation and a deep meditative state of consciousness. Following basic, gentle movements to limber the body and a few restorative poses, the teacher uses techniques such as guided imagery and body scanning to aid relaxation, allowing a generous length of time in Savasana (lying down on your back, with appropriate support) for practitioners to physically and mentally sink into their yoga nidra.
A class for everyone: no experience of yoga necessary.
