Aleksei Zukov

Aleksei is a Jivamukti yoga teacher with a background in martial arts and acrobatics, and so his vinyasa flow classes offer a strong, sustained practice with some interesting poses thrown in. Expect motivating instructions and hands-on adjustments, as well as pranayama and chanting.
 

Aleksei believes that yoga is not only a physical practice but a spiritual one where the practitioner dives deep in the study of the Self and learns to attain a higher level of consciousness.

Luis Valentine

Luis's yoga classes offer a strong flowing practice complemented with philosophical reflections, in true Jivamukti style. Expect chanting accompanied by the harmonium at the start of the class.

Luis is a 300-hour certified Jivamukti teacher and also a classically trainer actor, singer and dancer holding a degree in acting and a Masters in musical theatre.
 
It was in 2007, whilst at drama school that Luis first found yoga as a way to support his movement and dance training. The transformative powers of yoga inspire Luis to teach and he hopes that students take something from the practice out with them into the larger world.

Lizy Whiting

Vinyasa flow and Jivamukti yoga teacher Lizy combines playful discipline with intelligent sequencing that builds strength and awareness, encouraging her students to defy their own expectations. Expect strong core work and dynamic play.

Since her first experience on the mat at 21, Lizy has found herself transformed from desk-bound lawyer to globe-exploring yogini. Whether studying Iyengar in Rishikesh, practising Ashtanga at dawn or completing her 300 hour Jivamukti TTC, she draws upon a number of methods to inform her own style, best summarised as energised and technical play.
 
Jivamukti yoga integrates the physical, philosophical and spiritual aspects of yoga.

Classes include strong flowing sequences of yoga postures taught to music, with breathing exercises and chanting.

All levels - everyone welcome, differing abilities are catered for. Complete beginners should be aware that a minimum level of fitness is recommended as these classes may be faster paced or more physically challenging.
