We have our ever popular beginners courses in Iyengar yoga and pilates.
Courses are a great way to build up your practice with a sense of continuity, and they also instill the rhythm of attending a weekly class.
Iyengar yoga focuses on precision and alignment of the body in the postures. The quiet pace of the class allows you to explore each posture in depth, to develop excellent body awareness and release deeply held tension. This is a great style of yoga to start with if you have never tried yoga before, even if you go on to explore different style subsequently.
The foundation course is structured so that postures will be introduced and demonstrated in a progressive way providing an excellent introduction to yoga practice.

· Pilates is a technique for strengthening and toning the core postural muscles, especially in the abdominal area. Using small focused movements, core awareness is increased improving strength, flexibility and posture.
Both yoga and pilates compliment each other and a whole range of other sports.
These courses run every five to six weeks, the times are as follows:
